Upon entry, you have the choice to compete or to judge.

You need to judge to earn tickets to compete.

Each time you judge, you will earn $$$, the amount of which depends on your level, and 2 tickets to compete in the Pageant.

Each time you compete, you will earn $$$, the amount of which depends on your level and whether your Club holds the corresponding trophy (Gold 15% / Silver 10% / Bronze 5% more earned).  You can earn 30% more if you activate the Lucky Lady talent, which can be found in the VIP shop.  It will cost you 10 diamonds and last for three days.

The Pageant has a daily theme.  You are expected to dress and be judged on that theme.  If you are unsure about the theme, check here (opens in new tab)

When judging, you will be presented with two ladies and you click on the lady who has best portrayed the theme.

When competing, click on the compete button and  you will compete against a random lady.  Another lady will judge you and after a few moments, you will be given the results.  There is no rhyme or reason for the outcome at times.  For instance, one day the theme was a Day in Hawaii and I was pitted against a lady in an Evening Gown.  She won.  Many will just click without looking, in order to get the tickets they require. You will be pitted against any level.  As a level 6, I was pitted against a level 39.  A level 6 is going to have difficulty competing with a level 39, who has been playing for a considerable length of time and has more clothing and beauty salon items to compete with.  Be prepared for that, but note that it's not impossible to put together a winning outfit.
