Engagement Party

Missions List

So, you want to go to a party?  Here's all the information you need ...

The first thing you need to do is find a party you can attend. Go to the Party Center (the last item under the City tab) and once there, click on View All Parties. You will see which parties are available. It's worth doing this every day. If you leave it until the last minute, you risk not being invited. Only select parties which you can attend - check the time that the party will take place, remembering that the time shown is the game Server Time, and is not necessarily the same as your time zone. Parties takes time so be prepared to be there for the long haul.  Some parties can last the full eight hours allocated to them, and others can take 3-5 hours, so be prepared to be there for eight hours!

Once you have selected a party, click on the Lady’s name and that will take you to her profile. Usually, you will find any information about the party on the profile, such as her rules, dress code, whether the party is unlimited or not etc. Then, send her a message. Be polite! Say something like “Congratulations on your engagement. I would be honored if I could receive an invitation.” She MAY then send you an invitation. It’s entirely up to her whether she does or not and being rude to her if she doesn't,  is completely futile.  It just makes the person look like an immature child. The hostess may take pictures at her party, if she chooses to.  It's very rude to ask for one in party chat unless the hostess encourages you to do so. Check the hostesses profile for photo information. She may be taking photos of everyone at the party, or she may be taking photos of only those who send a PM, or only her fellow Club Members. Just note some hostess don't do pictures and for those who do, it takes a lot of work to make photos and the more photos she does, the slower her computer will be, so be patient! It's not a guarantee you will get one! If you receive an invitation, read it carefully before accepting. It should contain the information you need such as the dress code and any rules. Once you have accepted the invitation you won’t be able to view it again, so make a note on your calendar or in your diary. Again, it’s HER party and SHE gets to make the rules! You are expected to follow them! If you are going to be late, or can’t make it after you accepted the invitation, send the hostess a private message letting her know!

Prior to the party, make sure you have a Photo Session ready at 100% and a Supermodel waiting to be duelled.  If you don't, you risk losing out on those missions!

There are 25 missions to complete at parties. If all are completed and you participate in each one, you will receive a total of $61,5000, and 240 emeralds (plus an extra 10 emeralds at Speech time, that is if you leave a message in the Speech area (see at the Party). The missions tab at the party will tell you what you need to do – for instance CHANGE YOUR HAIR STYLE! You should do the mission only ONCE! If you do it more, you will be taking someone else’s chance and you will still only get the one reward regardless of how many times you do it. Do all missions ONCE, except the Supermodel mission where you can have another Supermodel ready if needed. Don’t use the 2nd supermodel unless it's near the  end of the mission (each Mission lasts a maximum of one hour) and it looks like it won't be successful without extra help.  Give everyone a chance.  It may take some guests 45 minutes to find a Supermodel to challenge. If you don’t use her, she will still be there in the morning and can be used for your Daily Task Bonus. When there are three hours left to go, you write a speech to the Hostess. You will get ten extra emeralds for this. Simply say “Congratulations. Thank you for the invitation.” Some just write “Congratulations”. This will appear under the Schedule Tab.  Once the speeches have finished, the bonuses under the Schedule Tab are experience points and you can collect one every 15 minutes.

For the two Photo Session missions, you need to be aware of the differences. COLLECT EMERALDS FROM PHOTO SESSION is exactly that! You participate in a photo shoot (if you don't already have one prepared) then collect the emeralds if you are lucky enough to have a successful Photo Session. If you have one ready at 100% chance, all you need to do is collect the emeralds.  If you don't get any emeralds you will have to do it again until you do collect some - this is why it's wise to have a photo shot ready at 100% chance! The other mission is to PARTICIPATE IN A PHOTO SESSION. You do not need to collect the emeralds for that mission. You just need to click on Participate. When the time is up, you are all set, nothing more is needed to be done.

When doing the Lucky Cards mission, only turn over ONE CARD!  Don't use all three cards available as that will count as doing the mission three times.

My biggest tip is to leave your rewards until the end of the party. Don’t collect them until the last mission is finished or until you need one or more of them to complete a mission. If you collect them and leave them sitting in your account while the party is in progress, someone will duel you and you will lose a lot of money!  However, do make sure that you collect them before the end of the eight hours.  You won't be able to collect them once the party has finished and you have closed that window.

Some Hostesses will kick out all those who don’t arrive within the first 30 minutes, so make sure you're on time! Be courteous and polite.  There is no need to ask in party chat about dress code or for pictures! Read the invitation and check the hostess' profile.  The worst part of a party is the preparation – choosing an outfit, preparing a supermodel, making sure you have money etc. Once in the party, it is easy, so go to as many as you can and enjoy yourself! Abide by the rules set by the hostess! Make sure you understand your obligations!

There is a pdf of the party missions at the top of this page.  Download it and you can mark off Missions as they happen.  There is no need to go into Chat and continually ask how many more Missions are left. It's rude and shows you're lazy and annoying! Don't do it!
